Rebecca Hernández Owner & Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Rebecca is a pediatric occupational therapist, educator, consultant, nature lover, and wife and mama of 3 little ones in the Kalamazoo community. She has been providing occupational therapy services for nearly 10 years, having graduated from Western Michigan University in 2013 with her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. She is board certified by NBCOT, is a member of AOTA, and is licensed by the state of Michigan. 

Awards:  Voted "Best OT" in 2017 by AMBUCS, Voted "Top Occupational Therapist in SW Michigan" 2022 and 2023 by KZOO Kids. 

Rebecca specializes in working with young children, from birth to 6 years old. She provides support to local preschools through Kalamazoo County Ready 4s, is a Level I Fieldwork Educator with Western Michigan University in the school system, and leads a variety of groups for families in the community. She also provides consultation to families who need support for their children, focusing on children with developmental, behavioral, and/or feeding needs. 

Rebecca is passionate about helping families reclaim their caregiving journey through connection with nature, with their child, and with their community. She has worked tirelessly to build connections with other providers in the area with aligned missions, so when you work with Rebecca you will gain an awareness and a connection to a vast community of well-rounded supports for your child, yourself, and your whole family. Because Rebecca knows that in order to support and empower a child you must support and empower the whole family!

- TBRI Practitioner

- Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) trained feeding therapist 

- Learn with Less ®  Educator 

- Infant Massage Educator (CEIM) 

- Babies @ Play educator 

- Level I and II OT Fieldwork Educator 

- Certifications in manual therapy, including Myofascial Release (MFR I) 

At home, Rebecca is a partner to her husband and mama to her incredible energetic, spunky, and loving kids. She is an avid gardener and loves to cook, read, and practice the art of just being with her family and friends.
