Social skills and emotional awareness are vitally important all throughout development, as it's necessary for children to learn to understand and manage all their emotions, how their actions impact others, and how to interact with others day in and day out. In each of our social groups, we help kids to first understand what they are feeling, how to manage each emotion appropriately, how to make friends and interact with others, how to play social games (ie. tag), and more!
Each of our Social Groups is designed based on evidenced-based social-emotional learning curriculum, a deep understanding of child development, and an appreciation that learning is at its best when it is centered around a meaningful occupation (hence our themed groups). We dedicate hours of time to research and develop each group to best meet the needs of the kids enrolled.
